One of my clients has a son with autism and he had been ill and out of school for almost a month. Once we found the root cause of that illness and it was addressed he was not feeling confident about returning to school after all the time away. He was having severe anxiety and told his mom he never wanted to go back.

I recommend a bach flower remedy to help ease his mind on the subject of school. His mom refrained on telling him what it was for and simply told him it was a multivitamin. He took it for 3 days before returning to school. His mom was regretting getting him up that first morning back but she opened his door to find him dressed and ready with his backpack in hand. She was baffled as he always disliked school and found it difficult to make friends. His first day back he made a few friends and said he found it easier to talk with kids at school without feeling anxious or that he was different. I recently had a client with extremely painful periods and severe pre period symptoms. She said that she felt happy until a week before her period started. She would feel a dark cloud descend, and she would begin feeling extremely depressed and anxious.

She received hormone testing and was told her hormones were normal and that what she was experiencing was normal. I disagreed, and we began working together. Even if her hormones were normal, these symptoms shouldn’t be her normal.

We started with root cause exploration, diet, and eventually homeopathy and adaptogenic herbs. Within a few months of beginning her journey with me, the anxiety and depression before her period went away, and her periods became much less severe. My goal is for every female client with period dysfunction to have this experience.
